  1. What is Sav Card and how does it work?

    The Sav Card is a prepaid card that lets you add money, spend it, and organise it using Pockets—all within a single card experience.
    You first add money to your Sav Card, and then choose how to spend it or organise it into Pockets for different purposes.

  2. Is the Sav Card a bank account or savings product?

    No. The Sav Card is not a bank account, savings account, or deposit product. It is a prepaid card, where you load money in advance and control how it is used.
  3. Are there any hidden charges on the Sav Card?

    No. Any applicable fees are clearly shown in the app. Sav does not apply hidden charges.

  4. Where can I use my Sav Card?

    You can use your Sav Card online and in-store wherever prepaid cards are accepted, subject to network and merchant acceptance.

  5. How may I add money to my Sav card?

    You can add money to your Sav card via linking your bank account(s). You may link multiple bank accounts to facilitate card top-ups. Once added, the money is immediately available to spend or organise into Pockets.

  6. Are there any charges for the Sav card?

    There are no annual or maintenance charges for a virtual card. However, a one-time fee may be charged when you request for a physical prepaid card.

  7. How do I order a physical card?

    On the app, Navigate to Card -> Request a Physical Card.

  8. How do I activate my Sav card?

    The virtual cards are auto-activated while you will have to activate the physical card after receiving it. Activate your card by setting a PIN or you may also do this by navigating to Card -> Change PIN.

  9. What does the 'Freeze' option do?

    ‘Freeze’ blocks your card temporarily. To continue using it, please ‘Unfreeze’ your card. This is very helpful in panic situations where you may have lost or misplaced your card. You may Freeze your card by heading to the Card section and selecting the ‘Freeze’ option.

  10. What happens if my card is lost?

    You may easily suspend your card through the app. From the Card menu, select freeze or block. You may also request a replacement card.

  11. Can I reactivate a card after ordering a replacement?

    To protect your security, we cannot reactivate your card once a replacement card has been ordered.

  12. Where may I find my card number?

    On the app, click on the Card icon at the bottom, then tap on the card image to get your card information including your card number, expiration date and CVV.

  13. How do I copy my card number to use it online?

    Simply select the card number on the screen to copy it.

  14. How long does it take for a physical card to arrive?

    You should receive your card within 2-3 business days from the time you place your order. Orders after 9.00 pm will be considered placed on the next business day.

  15. What is the minimum balance needed on the Sav card?

    There is no minimum balance needed for a Sav card.

  16. What do I do if there are unauthorized charges on the card or if I need to dispute a charge?

    Make sure you suspend your card through our app. You can either ‘Freeze’ the card to disable it temporarily or ‘Block’ it to disable it permanently. After this, please give us a call at +971 600505005 to report the issue.

  17. There's a fraudulent transaction on my card. What do I do?

    Make sure you suspend your card through our app. You can either ‘Freeze’ the card to disable it temporarily or ‘Block’ it to disable it permanently. After this, please give us a call at +971 600505005 to report the issue.

  18. Do my card details change when I activate my physical card?

    Yes- your physical and virtual card numbers are different. Once you activate your physical card, your virtual card will be deactivated, and you will be issued a new virtual card with the same details as your physical card. If you have saved or linked your virtual Sav card to any merchant, service, or platform prior to activating your physical Sav card, please ensure that you update or change the card details accordingly after activation. Failure to update your card information may result in failed or declined transactions.

  19. Can I connect multiple bank accounts to my Sav card?

    Yes, you may connect more than 17 bank accounts with your Sav card.

  20. Do I need to share my bank account login details when linking?

    No, you don't need to share your bank account login details. The process is secure, and we do not have access to your login credentials.
